- Sam Lafoca - the Aerial Photographer
- Harnessed in and hanging out of a Jet Powered Turbine Helicopter with my Nikon strapped to my right hand is where I'm at my best. My expertise from the air is surpassed only by my passion for photography which started back in the '70's as a "Lindensmith Lizard." (a yearbook photographer Geek) My images have been used in Motion Pictures, Broadcast TV and Print.
During my career building years, I worked as a portrait photographer, TV News Cameraman in Chicago and L.A. and since 1993, I have been behind the Camera of “Sky-5.” for the KTLA “Morning News.”
Bragging Rights: My photography work is hanging in the “Newseum” in Washington D.C. I have been the recipient of 3 Golden Mic awards, and a few awards from the Professional Photographers of America, also nominated for an Emmy. OK, that's enough of that... So, as you can see, I have the experience to get the job done…right...the first time…on time.
When I'm not flying around. I enjoy “quality-time” with my two boys, Sammy and Zack, wife Kim and two dogs, Pancakes and Popcorn…(the kids named the dogs),and now the newest members of my family, Shasta and Sierra. Stay tuned for more...
